Echo Lake has a hard surface private airstrip for use of its members and their guests only. It is approximately 2600 ft long by 40 ft wide at an elevation of 450 ft. LANDING AT TX40 IS BY PERMISSION ONLY. Guest use of the airstrip can be requested by completing the insurance liability waiver below and emailing it to info@echolaketx.com. Your request will be answered promptly.
NOTE: All land under and around TX40 is common property, owned by all ELPOA property owners. ELPOA leases the land under all existing hangars and any future hangar construction to ELPOA property owners only. Any purchaser of an Echo Lake property which includes an existing hangar must submit a hangar lease application with the then-current application fee, hangar lease and then-current hangar site lease fees to ELPOA. Again, all land under the hangars, taxiways, airstrip & adjoining property is common property, belonging to all ELPOA property owners. The hangar site lease and lease application are on every page of this website. All hangar fees will be collected upon closing of the ELPOA property being purchased.
